Amber Fleming, MA, LPA, HSP-PA
Amber is a licensed psychological associate (master's level psychologist) and the owner of KidsCare Psychological Services, PLLC. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Wake Forest University and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from North Carolina Central University. She specializes in child and adolescent therapy and psychological assessment. Her interest in these areas began in graduate school while working closely with her professors—many of whom were school psychologists. Amber has eight years of experience providing services in school, inpatient, and outpatient settings. Most importantly, her clinical experience has largely served rural and underserved communities. Amber hopes that KidsCare will help children take meaningful steps toward their full potential.

In her spare time, Amber is usually with her husband and rambunctious 5 - and 3-year-old sons. She enjoys gardening, reading, and traveling.
About my Practice
KidsCare Psychological Services specializes in psychological testing for children and adolescents ages 2-19 years. Although access to mental health services are limited in eastern North Carolina and can be expensive, KidsCare offers quality and timely psychological assessments to children of all socioeconomic backgrounds. I'm excited to offer autism diagnostic assessments to help reduce wait times and promote early intervention. Families are provided with detailed reports that outline their child's strengths and areas of improvement. The reports include personalized recommendations for families to make the best decision regarding their child's education and emotional and social wellbeing.
